Portage County schedules more free H1N1 flu vaccine clinics: Open to general public

The H1N1 flu vaccine is now available to anyone age 6 months old and older regardless of health conditions. Officials continue to urge people in the high risk groups, such as those 64 and younger with chronic health conditions, all people age 24 years and younger, and pregnant women,  to get their vaccine.  Additional clinics will be scheduled in Hiram, Kent, and Southeast School District.

    Cost:

FREE 

    Pre-registration:

People are encouraged to pre-register, which helps speed up the paperwork process.  h1n1vaccine.odh.ohio.gov/   

    Arrival Times:

    People are discouraged from arriving in advance of the clinic. No early birds will be taken.

Move It To Lose It In 2010!!!

 

The Aurora Chamber and Streetsboro Area Chamber are teaming up in 2010 with local businesses for the first Move It To Lose It Contest! 

 

Contest begins January 10th.  Members, friends and family are invited to register your teams of 4-6 members and complete their first weigh-in no later then January 15th at one of the following sites. Contest ends March 6th.  Watch for info about the commencement celebration and award ceremony! 

 

The top 3 teams of highest combined %weight lost will win prizes!

 

*All actual weights will remain confidential.

*Participants must weight in no later than Sunday of each week.
